AOPA Needs Airport Volunteers in Wyoming - Friday, July 21, 2006

AOPA's Airport Support Network (ASN) is looking for volunteers at the following airports in Wyoming: 49U, 76V, 80V, 82V, 83V, 9U4, AFO, BYG, ECS, EMM, FBR, GEY, JAC, LSK, PNA, POY, RIW, RKS, SAA, THP, U06, U25, U68, W43, and WRL.

ASN currently includes 1,600 member volunteers who "watch over" their airports to ensure general aviation has a voice in local  communities. ASN volunteers receive tool kits, participate in meetings and invitation-only message boards, and receive  specialized communications from AOPA on ways to promote, protect, and defend airports. Whether an airport is facing a threat or is thriving, ASN volunteers help foster airport support in their local communities, which is the key to protecting the future of airports and keeping GA strong. Thousands of other airports need an ASN volunteer! You can join the ASN program today - below is a list of airports that need an ASN volunteer.

Welcome To The Wyoming Pilot's Association Minimize

The Wyoming Pilots' Association is brand new and just getting started. WYOPA is a non-profit organization. You can get more details by downloading our brochure, below.

We are organizing a statewide Wyoming Pilots' Association, in cooperation with the Wyoming Aeronautics Commission, and are inviting all pilots and aviation professionals and enthusiasts in Wyoming to participate. A temporary administration has been set up to begin the organization. Permanent leadership and advisory board members will be selected by nomination and voting by pilots statewide soon. Leadership and advisory board positions will be elected, but unpaid and voluntary.

WYOPA will be organized as an independent, non-profit association yet will maintain strong ties to state and local aviation organizations. The membership will initially be free with minimal future costs to cover mailings and website hosting (if required). We will have a website, E-Mail, forum, quarterly newsletter and membership identification for all registered members.

Please send us your suggestions and comments. Write us at info@wyomingpilots.org
