The Sheridan Pilots’ Association is sponsoring an Airport Open House & Fly-‐in from 0800 to 1600 on 7Sep2013. The intention of the Open House and Fly-‐In (OH&FI) is to promote flying, aviation in general, and Sheridan County Airport and it’s impact on the Sheridan region. The OH&FI will ideally bring together: local pilots, aircraft owners, airplane enthusiasts, and people interested in flying for a fun day of activities at the airport. The OH&FI will hopefully attract the general public through aircraft displays and other activities and be introduced to the fun of recreational flying, the practicality of business flying, the educational and career options available, and, if nothing else, allow us to educate the public about flying and the airport, which will make us all better neighbors. An additional part is to encourage groups such as the EAA & CAP to recruit new members.
